DAY 01: YANGON – HEHO – KALAW [B/-/-]
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Yangon Domestic Airport for departure to Heho. You will pick you up at the Heho Airport holding a welcome sign with your name on it and transfer to hotel in Kalaw. After check-in at the hotel, continue to visit around Kalaw such as a historic Christ the King Church, and Thein Taung Pagoda, from which you can see the scenic views of Kalaw. Lunch and dinner on own account. Overnight at the hotel in Kalaw.
DAY 02: KALAW – PINDAYA – TAUNGGYI – INLE LAKE [B/-/-]
After breakfast, our local guide will pick you up at the hotel and drive to Pindaya. Along the way to Htut Ni village where you enjoy the beautiful landscape view with different crops grown. Visit Pindaya Mystery caves and Shwe U Min Pagoda, Pone Ta Loke Lake, and see the traditional bamboo umbrella making. Then continue to Tuanggyi, the capital of Shan State by car in the afternoon. Your driver will stop for a while at Ayethayar Wine Garden where you can see and try local wine on own account. Upon arrival in Taunggyi, you spend an hour shopping at the Myoma daily Market. Then Visit Mya Sein Taung Paya situated on the top of the mountain and overlooking the beauty of Taunggyi City’s views from the top of it. Then proceed to Nyanung Shwe and check into the hotel in Inle Lake. The rest of the afternoon time is at your leisure. Lunch and dinner on own account. Overnight at the hotel in Inle Lake.
DAY 03: INLE LAKE – INDEIN VILLAGE [B/L/-]
After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll down at the boat getting ready for a full day out with the local guide. You’ll board a boat which will bring you to the Indein shallow lake and the nearby village on the other side through a small scenic creek that runs into the Inle Lake. You will enjoy the unique beauty of the ancient pagoda complex, pay a visit to many of the small communities alongside the lake’s edge, floating farms and local fishermen rowing their boat with one leg. For lunch, you can enjoy a traditional meal at an authentic Intha house. Then you will depart back to the hotel. Dinner on own account. Overnight at the hotel in Inle Lake.
DAY 04: INLE LAKE PHAUNG DAW OO PAGODA FESTIVAL [B/-/-]
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Phaung Daw Oo pagoda to join the festival. The celebration held at Inle Lake in October /November is about 2 weeks where you can see the images of the Buddha usually kept at the eponymous pagoda on the southern end of the lake are transported around Inle by boat. They return to their shrine on the final day, accompanied by leg-rowing races, processions and much excitement. The festival starts with a solemn procession when four of the five images of the Buddha are removed from their shrine in the Phaung Daw Oo pagoda and placed on the Royal Karaweik barge.
The barge is towed by long boats manned by up to a hundred leg-rowers in colorful costumes. The Royal barge stops at 14 villages around Inle Lake, where the images stay in the main monastery for one night. Enjoy local traditional food at a local restaurant. Then you will be transferred back to hotel and overnight in Inle Lake.
DAY 05: HEHO – YANGON [B/-/-]
Breakfast at the hotel this morning and have leisure in your hotel till noon. Then check out and proceed to Heho airport for the afternoon flight to Yangon. Hope your tour ends with full of relaxing. Service end!
